Close to the salt lakes of the fishing village Santa Pola you can still see many flamingos and other birds in nature reserve. In these surroundings you can also visit the cosy markets like the Thursday market of Gran Alacant or the Saturday market of Santa Pola.

The city Alicante is appr. 10 km removed from the urbanization. The beautiful boulevard, the harbour, Santa Barbara and the several places of entertainment are definitely worth a visit.
